From painting kennels at Wollies 🐾, crocheting cozy blankets for the Waterkloof Innerwheel project 🧶, to collecting food and clothing for Omgeemense van Pretoria 🥖👕—there’s always a way to spread kindness together. Collabs are always welcome, and so are new friends! 🌸 Come be part of our team, make a difference, and create special memories along the way. ✨

Free-Spirit Living Volunteer Group (The Kindness Crew) connects helping hands with those who need them most, collaborating with charities and communities through, but not limited to, hands-on projects that spread kindness and care.

Wollies Animal Shelter

“You will never go hungry again! Never need to be afraid again! You will receive love and attention and have food every day. You will have a warm bed to sleep in, never be given up on or thrown away. Innerwheel Waterkloof Collaboration

Inner Wheel is an international women's organisation affiliated with the Rotary Club. The group provides a mix of social and charity functions in over 100 countries. Some of Inner Wheel Waterkloof's beneficiaries include SAVF Silversig Old Age Home and Starfish Greathearts Foundation

WAR - Women Against Rape

We bring comfort and restore dignity to victims when we give them a “comfort pack” containing personal care products, clean underwear, sanitary pads, soft toy, sweets, chocolate, and juice. This may seem like such a small thing, but it gives back a sense of dignity to a person when they can wash themselves off and put on clean underwear again. Children open up to the trauma workers more readily once they get the soft toy from our comfort pack in their arms to hold. Even the adults hug the teddies they receive tightly.

Crochet For Charity

Free-Spirit Living, in collaboration with Innerwheel Waterkloof, invites you to our very first Crochet for Charity Day! 💕

📍 Where: Communitas Bazaar

📅 When: Saturday, 27 September 2025

⏰ Time: 9h00 – 13h00

Together we’ll be crocheting 1m x 1m granny square blankets to bring warmth and comfort to:

✨ SAVF Silversig Old Age Home - Frail Care patients

✨ Starfish Greathearts Foundation

Don’t worry if you don’t have wool or needles – we’ll have some ready for you to use on the day! 🧶 If you’d like to bring along your own wool (or donate some), please do. Every stitch counts!

👭 Bring a friend, or come make new ones as we connect, laugh, and create with kindness. No matter your skill level, you’re welcome to join in and help us reach our goal.
